Our History

We are two brothers, Antonio and Riccardo and we are Gloster Canary breeders since 1981 successfully. We won many Italian Bird shows and more of 50 International Bird shows and we are also second placed at the last World Bird Shows in Germany. We have two different breeding but the same RNA. We acquired ours first bird from best Sicilian breeders and year after year, to improve the breed we also acquired bird from the best Italian breeders. For eight years we did not add new birds to ours. So we worked to select a very best breed with the good standard that we need.

After this eight years, to improve further on ours Gloster canary we decided to add some pairings from the best breeders of the world and what we needed was found in England, where according us is the best quality of plumage. The youngsters produced give us great results and in few years the breed improve in best. Taking part to shows in Italy we realized that the English Gloster canary was the best for plumage, but the Belgian Gloster canary was surely the best for chest nicely rounded without prominence and wings laying close to the back, head with full neck and size tendency to small. For this reason we decided to acquired some breed from breeder Kris Claes. Next year we decided to visit Kris in Belgium but the ornithology world for a sad fate had lost a great breeder.
His Gloster canaries went in many part of the world, but the best breed staid in Belgium so we went to search and acquired them. After visited some breeding we found the Gloster of Kris that today is part of ours in 50%. The Gloster of Kris and our Gloster work together very good and they give us great results to each show.  Every year for breeding season there are 120 pairs producing 700/800 youngsters. Now we can tell that our breeding is complete and in the future, thanks for the work made during the years, we will be able to enjoy many other satisfactions.
